From the Local Information Centre of Maccagno go along Via Oliari and then Via Taccolini, pass under the railway bridge and beside St. Stephen's church until you reach the crossing with Via Caretti. Turn left and go along a steep cobblestone way until you reach the junction with the mule track heading for Agra and Curiglia where directions are shown also on an ancient milestone. Turn left on the mule track and walk uphill as far as a turning where an alternative steep path starts and leads you back directly to Maccagno (111A). Go uphill past the following crossing with the path to Monte Venere on the right. Continue up along the mule track at half slope gaining height and reach the turning on right with the junction to the path to Monte Venere. Continue along the mule track still at half slope and go past the crossing to Località Campagnetta on the left. Continue along the unpaved road until you reach the road Dumenza – Curiglia. Take the paved road heading for Dumenza on the right, go past the crossing of the path to Agra on the right and reach the Llocalità Cinque Vie. Here turn left into the tarmac road at first and then into the unpaved road which goes to Località Roncampiglio, heading for Alpe Roccolo at half slope, past an unmarked path on the right getting nowhere into the woods. Walk past the turning to Alpe Roccolo on the right and go ahead along the unpaved road at first and then on the paved road which winds downhill on a few hairpin turnings and finally joins the road Dumenza- Curiglia, at località San Carlo. The road continues downwards on the right over the bridge over the torrent Crana and then climbs up the opposite side of the valley to reach the Sanctuary of Tronchedo. As you edge closer to Curiglia, take the mule track on the right which going past the wash house leads to the porch of the Parish Church and further on to the small square opposite the Town Hall of Curiglia where the route ends.
