The itinerary starts at Poppino, at the junction between Via delle Motte and Via Crevella. Walk uphill along Via Crevella getting past several cottages until you get to Roggiolo. At the small square turn right into Via Bedea. Walk along Via Bedea as far as the end of the paved track which offers a beautiful view over Luino and its Lake. Continue upwards through the wood along the dirtr road as far as a hairpin turn from which you can take the mule track on the left towards Monte Bedea.
