From the locality Poggio, after crossing the overpass over the railway line Luino - Bellinzona along path 135, turn right onto the footpath which skirts the uphill side of the embankment of the railway line. Go past a house, keep left, skirting its fence and take the path up into the woods until you reach the ruins of alpine cottages and the fork with path 136 running between Tronzano and Ronco Scigolino.
