The route begins at the crossing between Viale Europa and Via Giro del Sole.
Walk along Viale Europa as far as the car park on the left where the so called Life Trail – Percorso Vita begins; walk across the car park, take the level path and reach the short junction to the Giro del Sole (154D). Turn right and walk through the wood as far as the crossing on the left which in a few metres leads to the top of Monte Formica, a beautiful panoramic viewpoint. The path goes downhill as far as Piazzale Ganna, where a number of paths cross: the Giro del Sole, the Giro della Luna, Via delle Betulle going towards the Bedorè and Via Marconi, which leads back to the village and to the car park of the Percorso Vita.
