From the starting point of the Local Information Centre of Maccagno, walk along Via Oliari and then Via Taccolini, pass under the railway bridge and beside St.Stephen's church until you reach the junction with Via Caretti. Turn left and along a steep cobblestone way reach the crossing with the mule track heading to Agra and Curiglia. Turn right heading towards Agra and in a few metres'walk, leave the path on the left which leads to Monte Venere (152). Continue uphill on the mule track, go past the crossing with the 3V Alternative path for Monte Venere (105A); continuing uphill along the mule track, go past the crossing with the path 3V Colmegna-Luino (105) on the right and walk straight ahead as far as Via Poncioni. Now follow the paved road as far as the turning with Via Colmegna and, if turn left here, you can reach Agra easily, avoiding to go past the Santuario della Madonna della Lupera. Instead, the way turns right into Via Colmegna, follow it as far as the junction on the left where a downhill path leads to the Santuario della Madonna della Lupera. At the church porch, leave the mule track to Colmegna on the right, walk on a small bridge and take the mule track uphill reaching Via Madonna della Lupera and just beyond it the crossing with Via Colmegna. Turn right and walk uphill along Via Colmegna until you reach the junction with Viale Europa. Turn right here, reach the crossing with Via Montessori on the left, go along this street until you turn into Via Pasquinelli on the right and in a short time you will reach the square of the Town Hall of Agra.
