The path begins at the small porch of the Santuario della Lupera which can be reached from Maccagno and from Agra along path 155. Turn left into the mule track winding steeply down into the wood and get to Via Colmegna; turn left heading to Colmegna and at the hairpin turning turn into Via Torretta on the left. Continue along the dirt road and then on a section of the mule track until you cross the paved road again at Località VIgnone. Continue from here on the road at half slope, enjoying large panoramic views between cottages and farmland until you reach the crossing at which the mule track heading to the Le Vallate farmhouse (Agriturismo) begins on the right. Take the mule track on the right and once you have arrived at the farmhouse, turn right and go past some paddocks and take the downhill path until you reach the SP6 Dumenza – Curiglia. Turn right heading to Dumenza and you will get to the hamlet of Stivigliano.
