This alternative to path 115 reaches Passo Forcora from Monti di Pino passing by Alpe Quadra and thus reducing the distance to be covered by more than a kilometre.
After leaving Monti di Pino on path 115 along a steep section of cobblestones, which further on becomes an unpaved road when the incline diminishes, you will get to the crossing on the right where this alternative track starts. Take this path through the woods and reach a small valley, which you can easily pass by; continue on the flat path going past the crossing with path 115B for Nove Fontane on the left. Walk on along the dirt road and reach Alpe Quadra, a cluster of well-kept alpine cottages, overlooking the meadows with a panoramic view over the valley.
The track continues along the unpaved road, reaches the first houses and a little further on it gets to the square in front of the small church of Forcora, the destination of the route.
