This alternative to the main path enables you to reach the South dam of Lago Delio by walking along the path winding along the East coast of the lake and thus completing the circular walk of Lago Delio.
The detour starts off on the left of the main path coming down from Forcora, just before reaching the North dam.
The path continues along the forest road which in a short time leads us to glimpse down over the lake and winds up high above the shore until it reaches the South end of the dam. Here, after crossing a clearing, it goes back into the wood and reaches a turn on the tarmac road heading for Forcora. Turn right into the road and just past a hairpin turning, get to a junction with the tarmac road leading to Lago Delio, where you get back to the main path.
